This story is set in the 18090's era.
The world is a big place.
It is Governor Phillip's era.
This kid has got a finger in his mouth.
He's thinking about sailing around the world.
He thinks he'll take the tin of biscuits for food.
He pinched some other food as the biscuits would last longer then.
Can't he afford a chair to sit on?
They didn't make chairs for this house.
Richard Phillip is his name.
He doesn't have any brothers or sisters yet, just the dog. He is 8 years old ad he loves to dream.
He's too young to go to school.
WE'D NEVER KNOW WHO WE ARE IF WE DIDN'T HAVE DREAMS. THAT'S HOW THE WORLD WAS MADE - WITH CHILDREN HAVING DREAMS.
'Lassie' is the dog's name.

He's looking after Richard and he follow him everywhere.
Richard's father has gone to circumnavigate the world - he builds telephone posts. He wants to make a name for himself.
The dog thinks that he has forgotten to take Richard and his mother with him.
Richard sometimes goes and stays with his best friend who lives down the street.
One day Richard will be a boat builder. He dreams about other places around the world he will visit. He's a very brave boy. He thinks to himself, "I will discover something." He discovers how the world was made. He's very clever. He will be a navigator someday and maybe even a sailor.
He had a dream he was Governor Phillip.
