“The Day We Met Robin”
Robin is a happy little boy who “looks like he was just born in a hospital”. He weighed only six pounds when he was born, and he’s growing up very tiny. He has two brothers and two sisters. The brothers’ names are Timmy and John. The sisters’ names are Elaine and Margaret. Robin’s brother was bigger than Robin when he was born. His brother weighed almost eight pounds. He was a big boy! However, the “girls take care of the boys” in this family.
His parents, Eileen and John, might be in bed or maybe they are somewhere around the house. Robin “has to find his mommy!” He is looking for her to feed him. There’s a plant in the house, which means that they are inside of the house rather than outside. It is dark outside so it must be nighttime.
Robin looks like “a stinky little kid in a satchel!” His parents could have his clothes because he is not wearing a diaper. He is waiting for his mother because he wants more covers. Lately, Robin has been wearing training pants to “teach him not to wet himself.” We know that Robin definitely “needs a bath because he is stinky!”
Robin is cute, but he “looks like a sneaky little kid”. His mother helped him into a dark colored suitcase, and he’s going to go “wherever they take him.” While he is in the suitcase, “he’s laughing at his brothers and sisters”. They are telling him jokes to make him laugh. Robin is dreaming about “going to a new world” because he doesn’t know where he is going. Somewhere in these dreams he is doing “something special with his mom and dad”.
Robin’s parents are taking him on a trip to the amusement park. While they are at the park they are going to take him around to play games, see the animals, and go on rides. “He was cute and sweet and a little doll”.
