The Cat and Dog are in Trouble
The dog
definitely had fun with the tree! The cat helped, too. They were climbing up to
find balls. Some of the balls are laying around on the ground. The dog was
trying to get ornaments off and over went the tree.
“CRASH!”
“Oh my, I’m
in trouble,” says Whitie, the dog.
“I didn’t do
anything,” says Tiger, the cat. The cat thinks she is innocent.
This
happened in the living room of the house in the area of where we are here. The
cat and dog were just playing and decided to trash the tree. The dog smelled
the cat. The cat smelled the dog. They started playing together and knocked the
tree over.
Also, in the
room were my kids, Justin and Lauren.
“I didn’t do
it,” said Jason.
“I didn’t
either,” said Lauren. But, that’s normal.
The cat and
dog hide because they are little afraid. They know they are in trouble by Mom.
She will put them in another room and keep them there so that they cannot knock
it down again. They’ll have their toys, just not the tree. The family wasn’t
very happy with them. You know this because they are hiding. The dog and cat
will be crated for a little while.
The family
gets the tree up to see how many ornaments are left. The tree is okay, but
there is not much left to the ornaments. They are going to have to make some
ornaments since the cat and dog got them off of the tree. They’ll cut pictures
from paper and glue them to shapes cut from boxes. They’ll glue it and hang it
up. A favorite ornament – a snowman – was broke and they will have to make another
one. They’ll also make a Santa Claus and different balls in different colors
such as red, gold, silver and blue.
They can set
the tree up and see how many more ornaments they need to make to make it look
nice. While they are doing this, there is the smell of the pine tree and scents
of different candles that are lit.
The parents
say, “It would have been helpful if you kids would have been watching the
animals. Then the tree might not have been knocked over.”
Instead, the
kids were coloring in a coloring book of Christmas trees and snowmen and things
like that. The kids start to draw and fill in with crayons the different
pictures from the coloring book for the tree. They hang them on the tree.
The dog and
cat are now looking at the adults and are afraid they are still in trouble.
They went off and are now back. The adults told them they better not get near
the tree. They dog and cat go and hide so they didn’t get in trouble again. The
family crated the dog and cat for awhile so they settle down and don’t demolish
anything else.
