Rewarded for a Good Deed
Queenie is her name and she was born in Baltimore, Maryland. Queenie is 10 years old and posing for a picture. Her owners, Lucy and Trixie, are hugging off in the distance behind her. Lucy and Trixie are happy and proud of Queenie because today is a special day. Queenie is receiving her scepter. She earned it for saving the life of a local child. There is a lighthouse and bridge in the background behind Queenie. The child fell off of the light house and landed in the bay. Queenie saw it happen during her daily walk across the bridge, and dove in after the child. Queenie saved Billy's life.
The scepter is not Queenie's only reward however. Billy's parents were so thankful to have their beloved son back, they rewarded Queenie, and her owners. Queenie will receive a lifetime supply of Steak that will be served early each morning, for the rest of her life. Lucy and Trixie received a check for $1 million, and a Bronze statue of Queenie. The mayor will also be presenting Queenie with a gift. She will receive a "key to the city", which will allow her to go anywhere she would like, including restaurants, for free.
Lucy, Trixie, and Queenie will go out to celebrate tonight. Queenie suggests a bar, but Lucy picks the Olive Garden instead. Trixie wants to go to a fancy restaurant because he likes to dress up and wants to drink some good wine. The group settles on having a lazy night home, and orders some Domino's pizza. The family has a good night together, and plans to have a good day tomorrow.
