Preparation for the BBQ
They're getting ready to eat breakfast. The man is cooking. Yes, the man is cooking. It's a warm, summer afternoon on the farm. There's a red barn, a porch swing, and a scarecrow. Can we all go there? It's a Sunday, where they're relaxing.
It looks like a bottle of beer! Maybe a soda! It's a Coca-Cola. The matriarch of coming out of the house is having a plate full of food. That's a mister out there with a fork cooking BBQ. There's a girl on the porch with a doll and a woman coming out of the house with food. That looks like Aunt Ethel and Uncle Oscar! They're related, they're family or neighbors. There's a boy pushing a girl on a tire swing.
It looks like they had a successful harvest of corn! There's the barn with horses, mules, cows, and pigs! The girl is looking out of the window for someone special. There's a bird or a hoist! I see a big barrel with a down spout that collects water. It looks like a tree or chimney. Something silver!
It could be the Fourth of July! They are together to have a happy holiday. They made a red scarecrow with a black hat looking over the corn field. It scares animals away. All food that is edible that we enjoy will be there.
Who's that person? When do we eat? It happened a long time ago! The 1930s or 1940s. There were no cars or tractors. There's a new flag!
There's a cooker where he's cooking corn, chicken, pork, hot dogs, and hamburgers. There's a storage bin nearby next to the barrel. You gotta have somewhere to store those supplies. Did we mention the silver thing on top of the barn? It's a wind vain! We are thinking of the way the wind blows with the crops and everything.
For the future, they're thinking about the gifts for the holiday and hoping for good return on crops. They'll be picking up food for the Winter too. It seems like a fairly modern time with that tire swing as new as that!
At the end of the BBQ, they all eat, take some left-overs, and then go to bed!
