Penguins Are Nice
Look at that! They’re animals, aren’t they? They’re Dimitra and Vlashi. They’ve come all the way from America, Ohio. They seem to have come from further north, where there’s lots of snow.
They are penguins. They’re holding hands. Vlashi is singing a song for Dimitra. They are good swimmers and they might jump in the water and swim together. They do lots of things. They play together.
Vlashi is a singer and Dimitra is a dancer. They’re thinking about what they are going to do. They are married and they have seven baby penguins—or chicks.
They look healthy. They live there, but sometimes Dimitra goes far away to Montreal. After the swim, they hold hands and catch fish to feed their chicks. They eat fish all day and they are happy. The penguins have been trying hard and they may go somewhere new. Nick thinks the penguins look like twins.
