My Day at the Beach
Her name is Mary Margaret.
She looks very happy to be at the beach.
She looks like a professional posing; maybe she is doing a yoga stretch, or maybe it’s a beauty contest. Mary is posing for her boyfriend; his name – well she calls him “Honey.” They are grinning at each other.
A lady is sitting in the shade, under an umbrella. She is just observing things, stretching her legs a little.
It’s windy out; you can tell because the lady with the long white dress is holding the dress so that it doesn’t blow too much.
It must be about 12:30. You can tell that because Mary Margaret’s shadow is close to her, as if the sun is almost right overhead.
The girl with arms folded isn’t too interested; she’s just checking different things out all around her. Looks like she’s a little bit bow-legged.
It could be by the ocean; they built some things around the water. There are high-rise apartments on the left, a light house above Mary’s head, and a patio on the right like Jacob just built at his house not too long ago.
Maybe it’s at Craig Beach in Lake Milton, where Alma used to live.
