Man and the Lobster
Ohhh, a lobster! Oi yoi yoi! The man is very clever, with a cappello, or a hat, over his face. He’s studying the lobster. It’s taking place in a classroom. There are other children there. It is a really interesting lobster!
Elsie doesn’t know what a suitable name for a lobster is, but it is Marcus holding a lobster named Michael! Marcus has a puffy face. He wants to know whether the lobster is fresh or bad. If it is bad, it is something that you smell and run away, as far away as possible and go to the beach. We’re not sure if it is a good or bad lobster.
Marcus is hiding his face, but his hands aren’t very old. He is studying the lobster. We don’t know if Marcus has a family. He has a look one way, and has a look another way, looking at all angles of the lobster. He ought to smell it, then he would know if it is good or bad!
Marcus is wearing a straw hat and a white shirt, and he is sitting down at the table. They’re at a school and the other children look close, but some have gone out and have not come back in. There’s a boy sitting behind the straw hat.
There’s a black dog there, too, with a collar. Crissie is not sure if it is a dog or a black bag, because it is a strap on the floor, not a tail. It can’t be a tail because it would be at the back, not the side. It might be a strap from the collar.
Marcus will eat the lobster! It is already cooked. There’s a shoe in the photo too. “If I have a big hat, you get a bit of dust on it,” says Nicholas!
