John and Tawnette: Friends Forever
Yeah, the dog is very friendly and it licks you in the face. That’s nice. We don’t know if it’s a boy or a girl wearing the stripy pants. He’s sitting there waiting for someone else to help him. It’s definitely a boy!
Roberta is worried about the cat. It looks as if he could die quickly—poor thing.
The boy looks like a disabled boy because of the way he is holding his hands. His name is John. We think it’s a bright orange cat, a tawny-coloured cat. Crissie called her tawny-coloured cat “Tawnette”, so we’ll call this cat Tawnette!
The cat is looking for someone to give it something to eat. Val doesn’t think John will feed him. According to Crissie, Tawnette doesn’t need any food. He’s lying on his back and he’s comfortable.
The boy looks very happy. He’s been sleeping, lying on his back. They are one with the other. He’s a beautiful cat. Crissie loved her cat called Tawnette. We’re not sure if we should say whether the cat is male or female! Because she’s so pretty, we think she’s female. Male cats are usually black or grey.
Val thinks John and Tawnette could be in the backyard outside. Crissie thinks it’s taking place in the loungeroom because there is a table there. She thinks they are relaxing by the fire. The cat feels happy and gives John many kisses.
Crissie feels the cat is lying on its back waiting for someone to rub its chest. “You don’t rub its tummy because the cat might not like that,” says Crissie. Tawnette is keeping John company because cats are very sensitive. John’s parents are nearby and it might be his father who is taking the photo.
John is happy. He’s not worried. There is something wrong with the boy, but the cat is looking at him and they are very happy. Roberta is still worried about the cat! She thinks it could explode or expire! Poor little thing!
