Hooray for Grandma!
It’s a nice picture of an ordinary old lady over 50. Sarah said, “That’s pretty good what she said. I couldn’t beat that.” “I’m a little too old for her,” said Mr. M. She’s trying to get the party going. The picture makes me smile.
Her name is Sally and she’s playing ball at the beach and she’s a lot younger than this group. She’s got some nice looking legs on her. She makes me laugh. She used to work in a nursery school and she’s good at making children laugh.
It’s Rehoboth Beach and she’s jumping. It’s sunny. It’s summertime. At the spur of the moment, she jumps up. She’s playing volleyball. She feels good because she’s very competitive. She’s competing with her grandson, Timothy Allen.
Her family thinks she’s great. They like to see her cover herself when she goes swimming. She has children and grandchildren and she’s a character.
Sally shouts, “I saved the game! I got it! Mazel Tov! Hallelujah!”
Then she thinks, “I wish I were young again. I woke up this morning and I’m still able to go out and have fun. I’m so happy.”
