He’s in a Hurry
Oh, yes, it is too! Oh this is interesting. She’s wonderful. He’s running for the bus. He seems to be in a hurry. His name is Andrew and he’s pushing a trolley and there are groceries in it. He’s been doing his shopping, of course!
He’s rushing. He’s going fast and he’s got the good ones there. Helen thinks he’s going to get the bus. He is wearing nothing, says Val! But Stan says he has a white cap, black pants, and a tie on. It looks as though he has two pairs of pants on to make himself warm.
He is living in a town. That’s why he’s wearing a tie, says Crissie. He goes, goes, goes! He is running. He must have good legs and good shoes!
Margaret thinks that Andrew has a job. Val doesn’t know what he’s doing. Andrew is delivering the groceries. He only has one shoe on. He must have eaten the other one, says Val!
We can hear the sound of car noises, people whistling and car horns. The weather looks a little bit rough. Andrew is delivering the groceries to a house on Maria’s daddy’s farm in Karahoja, where there are sultanas and a water well. Andrew is travelling to the village for one hour. It’s not raining yet.
Andrew has a family at home. He has a big stomach—he’s been eating too much! Crissie doesn’t think his stomach is so big. After delivering the groceries, Andrew will get back on the bus to town to deliver more groceries.
