Howard is 45-55 years old, wearing a suitspants, a long sleeve white shirts with brown suspenders. He is wearing a loosened tie whose colors are white, brown, and orange red. There is a shine on his face. He is hot and sweating. we are in hot and humid summer time. He is holding a newspapers he is fanning himself with. On his other hand, he has a handkerchief he is wiping off his sweat. He is on a street car. I see a sign or ad for cereal behind his face. Since he is in his suits, he is on the way from work. It is hot, probably in the afternoon. He looked little stressed, He is hot and tired. This is a train from New York to Connecticut. This is summer, August. A straw hat throws me a little bit.
He has done a morning and dinner time shifts and working in a restaurant- a general American cuisine, Their most popular food is an hamburger with cheddar cheese, mustard and ketchup and french fries to go with hamburgers. He is coming home from his work. His home is in Connecticut. when he gets home, he gets into something comfortable like shorts and T-shirts- cooler. He has a couple of teenagers- 12 years old and 16 years old. He has a wife, Mellissa,They have been married for 17 years. She is an real estate agent. He sits and reads a newspaper. He discovered Donald Trump is coming to Connecticut. He is not thrilled as he does not like Donald Trump. He likes Hillary. He got in a comfortable clothes and cools down a bit. He has a nice salad and sandwich, cool dinner. He plays catches with his boys. They think Dad works hard and they like dad. 16 year old boy is going to learn how to drive very soon.
A phone rings and his wife tells him there is a water main burst and flooded the streets she was used to come home. So she is going to go back and turn to her friends and stay there to see check, couple of hours and see what is happening with flooding from the water main. If it goes down or manage somehow, she will come down home. If, however, the flooding remains a problem, she will probably spend a night at a friend's home.
One of the boys slipped and fell on his arm and shoulder, and the dad decides better take him to Emergency room to make sure nothing is broken because the boy is holding a shoulder and crying saying it hurts. They go to Emergency Room and determines nothing is broken and put a sling on his arm and wrap his shoulder to stop him from moving. And give him something for pain. He tells dad that he can take him home and put him in bed. After his trip to ER, got the other son settle for the evening. He finds himself pretty tired so he makes sure he makes himself ready for bed. So he makes sure he has a phone close by and he checks on a boy. They are both sleeping. And he stretched out in his own bed and relaxes, put some soft music and get ready to go to sleep. Maybe she calls and flood has gone down and she will come home.
