Going to Kits Beach
We see two ladies. On the left is Mary and on the right is Margaret. They are sitting on a swing. They’re looking East, towards something. We think they may be at Stanley Park, wherever there is a chair. However it could also be Kits beach because Kits beach has a playground with a swing. It looks like there may be snow behind but they are not wearing coats so it must not be snow. Their clothes are old fashioned so we think the picture must be from a long time ago.
When we listen, we can hear the sounds of birds and children playing and laughing, also the sounds of water coming and going, people walking and the sound of fishing. We can smell the fish along with the smells of the ocean and hot dogs cooking.
Mary and Margaret just met, they happened to sit down beside each other on the swing. Neither of them work, they are rich. They both worked as secretaries and enjoyed their jobs, but now they are retired. Mary is happy, she likes sitting on the swing. However Margaret is serious, something is bothering her. We discover that she is only recently retired, she just gave notice and is sad about her job ending.
Mary and Margaret both dream of marriage one day. To achieve this, we decide that dating would be a sensible thing to do. They both need to find a man and we hope this will happen for them.
