Beautiful Ladies Dancing
All legs! They’re lifting their other legs—ten legs! They’re dancing in a village. Maria’s mother is there. She’s dancing the Charleston. They’re trying to get to another party. There are ten dancers. They are very happy!
When the curtain goes up, we’ll see the other legs. They are wearing dresses. It’s a bit hard to get it up higher. Their dresses are a mixture of colours—reds, very good!
Just anybody is in the audience. There are ten to eleven. They are dancing and singing. With the curtain rising, there is music playing and tapdancing. There are three black shoes. The audience claps when they dance.
It’s happening in Kefalari Korinthias. There is a fringe on the curtain. It could be a fancy theatre. The floor is polished. There is plenty of noise and jumping up and down. It could be taking place a long time ago, or it could be taking place now because the shoes look modern. There are lamps facing the artists.
When they finish dancing, they leave the stage. It’s a success! They’ll come again. They get paid. They are professional dancers. After the show they just go home and have something to eat. Yes, of course. They prepare to do it all again.
Stanley notices there are four legs facing one way and six legs facing toward them. The shoes are many colours. The lamps are making shadows. The dancers look very special dancing the Charleston all together. The ladies show their beauty and their youth!
