Beautiful Day at Wasaga Beach
The old lady is playing Frisbee. She may be on a trampoline since she is jumping very high to catch it: that’s good exercise! The old lady is called Moira (no relation to our Moira at Columbus, but who knows maybe they are far removed cousins). Moira is from Ontario, and she lives close to the sea.
Moira is at Wasaga Beach, a white sand beach in Georgia Bay, Ontario. Moira is with her grandchildren, her relatives, and the family dog. The dog’s name is Spot. It is a nice sunny day. Moira is dressed with a nice summery dress and a hat.
Moira is playing Frisbee with her granddaughter, her grandson, and her friends. Her relatives are also trying to catch the Frisbee, and with a game of Frisbee you can’t keep the dog away. Moira is having a good time; she is very happy, and she sure can jump!
Her relatives are just visiting and giving grandma a workout. Her granddaughter says “Nice going grandma, good job” Moira and her family walked from home to the beach. They are going to have a BBQ: hot dogs, buns, pickles, coslaw, French fries, pop, and chocolate ice cream for dessert.
There are also other people in the beach, some of them are watching Moira, and others are getting a suntan, soaking in the Sun. On the beach you can hear shouting, people calling to each other, greetings, laugher, and screeching. It is such a nice and calm day. You can also smell popcorn, French fries, sun tan lotion, and the smell of the sea.
Moira is going to be tired at the end of the day. “I’d had it you guys. You can do it yourselves” she says. Moira’s family had a good time at the beach. Everybody is getting tired, and they are going back home. “Let’s have a sing along. How about Show Me the Way to go Home?” one of Moira’s relatives says.
The End
