Baby luggage
“Guess what I did in here,” he said. He is so cute, full of mischief. I see a pot behind him, maybe a plant of some sort. He is so cute. He said it’s a good place to hide. He said, “Hey, mom try and get me out of here. Special delivery.” Home birth, that’s a doctor’s bag. Most children like to climb in bags. “You forgot my clothes,” he told his mom. He got in after his bath. “I thought there was candy in here.” Innocence, he is happy. He said,” you are kidding. Mom I know babies should be carried around, this is a special delivery.” He is a boy. A nude boy. He climbed in the bag because he said, “you aren’t going without me.” It’s an expensive bag. He said,” you didn’t know I could do this, you didn’t think I could get in.” This was the 1930’s or 40’s. He has two teeth, he is not an infant. At least 6 months old and he is happy. I hope the room is warm. There is a doily on the table, it is a giveaway for that time. His name is John, he looks like Billy Joe. His name is John Smith Bryan. He has three names. He is in the country in Tennessee. He looks like a devilish little boy. His mom is in the kitchen. He is the baby of the family. It is a Monday, it is 9 o’clock, just had breakfast. It is summer. He said, “Look at me, I am bright eyed and beautiful. I am handsome.” He looks like his hair is going to be black, he has dark hair. Maybe his mother put him in there, maybe he is playing hide and seek. His parents are farmers, they drop their child at strangers’ houses. His father is a country doctor. He has no sisters and brothers, he is the only one. Maybe his parents work at Social Security. He said,” Mom I like your purse.” He said,” have a nice trip. I will be back tomorrow.” The End.
