A Day at the Park
A Day at the Park
They are in Wisconsin, said Lawrence. In Green Bay, Shouted Marcie. It is 2013. No it has to be earlier than that, commented Bob. The guy is looking through a camera…his name is Jack, said Lila. The one that is trying to keep out of the rain is named John and the lady is named Jaclyn, said Myrtle. The man that is enjoying all of the rain is named Paul. You never know just what they are doing, said Karen. They must be enjoying the rain. They look very happy. I believe that they are trying to play a record. They must feel really wet, commented Jerry. They look like they know each other from the way that they are facing each other. They are probably neighbors, said Myrtle. I don’t know. It feels like a holiday. John agrees. They hear kids playing and having fun. I think that I hear the clap of the thunder, said Jim. I think that the sun will soon come out and they will start praising the Lord, said Anne. It smells like winter. Oh no! don’t tell me that we will be getting some snow, shouted Lila. It smells like clean air. Fresh, Fresh air. They will continue to enjoy the rain. They probably haven’t had rain for a while commented Myrtle. They are not going anywhere… The will more than likely return back to their homes in Green Bay. They were by the Lake, said Helen. Probably at Bay Beach. Helen thinks that they are going to enjoy the fresh air. Maybe they will ride the rides or even have a picnic. They will have sandwiches, potato salad, Cole slaw, pop, beer, potato chips, pickles, that they will eat for lunch. For supper they will have a cookout and they will have taco dip, hamburgers, hot dogs, and for dessert a BIG bowl of ice cream. After they get done they are going to go to a Packer game, shouted Helen. They are huge Packer Fans, commented Jim. Then a Packer fell on one of them doing the Lambeau Leap and they…well that was the end of the sport, said Lila. The game is over…Hallelujah shouted John. They all lived happily ever after…or so we thought, said Jim.
