Our Story

Our bold vision is that creative expression, growth and meaning is available to us all at every stage of life, wherever we live and whatever our abilities.

Our evidence-based and award-winning methodology trains care partners to invite elders into meaningful and joyful expression using creative engagement. Having trained thousands of people ourselves, we now license our training to partner organizations to expand our reach. Our trainings and consulting adapt to any care setting from meal delivery to companion visits. From skilled nursing to well-check phone calls. 

We began with one volunteer in 1998, and became an independent non-profit in 2013.  Over our 25+ years, we trained and certified over 1,000 individuals and 100 organizations across the world. Now partnering with major national care systems, our reach is expanding exponentially.
